A materials evaluator for the OC Public Libraries system in Orange County, Calif., Wendy Crutcher is responsible for selecting and helping to maintain the adult fiction collections at 33 library branches. She's also responsible for inviting authors and moderating the romance genre panel at her library's annual literary event, which just celebrated its fifth anniversary.
RWA presented Wendy Crutcher with the 2011 RWA Librarian of the Year Award at the 31st Annual Conference in New York City.
