The RWA Librarian of the Year is awarded to a librarian who demonstrates outstanding support of romance authors and the romance genre.

Mary Moore, Reference & Adult Services Manager
Huntsville-Madison County Public Library, Huntsville, Alabama
Mary Moore is a reference and adult services manager for the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library in Huntsville, Ala., who is known for her great enthusiasm for the romance genre. Moore was responsible for writing the proposal that won the library the 2010 RWA Library Grant, and she also hosts writing workshops for the public and educational sessions on the romance genre for librarians.
RWA will present Mary Moore with the 2012 RWA Librarian of the Year Award at the 2012 RWA Conference in Anaheim, California.
