The RWA Steffie Walker Bookseller of the Year award is given annually to one special bookseller who provides outstanding service to romance readers and demonstrates notable support of romance authors and the romance genre.

Kaori Suzuki Fischer joined Barnes & Noble in 2003 and has been a community relations manager since 2005. Kaori has been a reader for the Discover New Writers program at Barnes & Noble, and she has been in charge of bookselling at several large conventions, including the RT Booklover's Convention in 2009 and the RWA Annual Conference in 2010.

RWA presented Kaori Suzuki Fischer the RWA Steffie Walker Bookseller of the Year Award at the 31st Annual Conference in New York City.
