Advertise in Romance Sells!
Take this great opportunity to let booksellers and librarians across the country know about your upcoming published romance novels.
Romance Sells is a 5.5 x 8.5 inches ad booklet, produced on a quarterly basis by RWA, which is used by librarians and booksellers as a reference guide to determine which romance titles to purchase. It also includes articles directed to librarians and booksellers providing tips on how to promote the romance genre and increase book sales.
RWA members are welcome to purchase one or more full-page ads to advertise their upcoming or currently-in-print romance novels. (Books advertised must be Eligible Novels or Eligible Novellas.) Full-page advertisements are organized by category (i.e. Contemporary Single Title, Paranormal, etc.), and the advertisement allows you to display a book cover, give an overview of the storyline, list quotes/reviews written about your book, and mention your accolades and other titles.
Booksellers have told us they use Romance Sells to pre-sell to their customers as well as make their own buying selections. Librarians also use it to make buying decisions and many say they post individual pages on their bulletin boards to help their patrons make reading decisions.
The cost for one ad in Romance Sells is $200. Advertisers receive a 10 percent discount if advertising two or more titles in a single issue.
Romance Sells mails to approximately 6,300 booksellers and librarians. We hope you’ll contribute your own mailing lists of favorite libraries and booksellers to our master database to help us reach as many stores as possible. (Please send addresses to Romance Sells.)
