You'll be just steps away from the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and few blocks from CNN Center, Georgia World Congress Center, Philips Arena, and Georgia Dome.
The discounted room rate for RWA2013 registrants is $189 per night (plus 16 percent tax) for a king/double room.

Find a Roommate
RWA’s set up an online forum at http://www.rwa.org/2013roommates where conference registrants can post roommate requests. Note: This feature is only available for RWA members at this time. If you are a non-member needing a roommate, please send an email to conference@rwa.org with your contact information.
If you have a reservation at the Marriott and decide to room with another attendee, please cancel your unneeded hotel reservation as soon as possible to free up room nights for other attendees.

Registered attendees can fill out a PDF form to be placed on a wait list for the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. There is no guarantee that a room will become available and RWA suggests seeking other options before being placed on the wait list. Once placed on the wait list, RWA will only contact you if a room becomes available.
The deadline to reserve a room at the discounted RWA2013 rate is June 17.

Transportation Services
The closest airport to the Marriott Marquis is Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
The hotel does not provide airport shuttle service to/from any of the area airports; however, there is indoor MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) access to the airport from the Marriott. Estimated taxi fare (one way) from the airport is $32.
