August 2022 RWR

As the president of RWA, I want to extend a huge thank you to those who attended the RWA2022 conference. I understand that with all the conferences out there and with every penny counting, you put your trust in us to bring you value for your money. I do hope we fulfilled your expectations. I can tell you, it was because of your attendance that this conference was over-the-top successful!

As we say goodbye to the summer and start to move forward into fall, I would like you to please consider referring writer friends to join RWA. There is always strength in numbers, and the more people we add to our romance community, the stronger we can all be for it.

RWA is running a membership drive in the month of September. If you refer new (or former) members and they join RWA between now and September 30, they will have their $25 processing fee for new/rejoining members waived. Plus, you will receive a free download containing a collection of previous RWR articles specifically geared toward your writing career in today’s romance industry!

As I said in the panel I was on at the conference, RWA’s strength to affect change within the publishing industry is rooted in the unified voice of our membership. RWA offers relevant and cost-effective educational programing and member benefits at every level of your career path. 

We challenge you, our dedicated members, to share how you continue to benefit from your RWA membership. Take the next step. Spread the word about the RWA network with a fellow writer or a friend with a story eager to be written. Ask your professional writer colleagues to partner with our organization and add their perspective to the industry conversation.
