Librarians learned all about romance novels during Romance Day, January 26, at the PopTop stage at the American Library Association's Midwinter convention in Seattle, WA.
Romance Writers of America facilitated a full day of romance-centered programming, with panels on paranormal, historical, and YA romance, as well as panels on family ties in romance series and the appeal of the romance hero. After the panels, librarians had the opportunity to meet and get books autographed by the panelists.
Romance author and panelist Barbara Caridad Ferrer (@BarbFerrer) tweeted, "Had a WONDERFUL time at #alamw13. Thanks to @romancewriters for hosting us & thanks to the librarians & readers who showed up. So much love!"
Thanks to the authors who helped RWA spread the word about romance novels and to the librarians who stopped by Romance Day!
