CJ Matthew was born at Wright-Patterson AFB and grew up in an Air Force family that traveled and lived all over the US and around the world. It proved to be the perfect childhood for gathering ideas for future books and for meeting real life heroines and heroes in uniforms and flight suits.

She began writing in 2007 and self-published her debut paranormal romance series, Dolphin Shore Shifters, in August 2015. The series features dolphins posing as humans, committed to protecting the oceans at any cost while working through their oceanic conservation corporation, Save Blue Water, based in Santa Barbara, California. CJ is also publishing a romantic suspense series, Paladin Group. Set in a small town in middle Georgia, the series features wounded AF Pararescuemen and veterans they have rescued. Men and women warriors turned lawyers and investigators continuing to rescue people in serious trouble.

CJ also writes a contemporary military romance quintet, The Colonel's Daughters, starring five sisters, each born in different country. As the daughters return to the country of their birth: Japan, UK, Italy, Germany and the US-Hawaii, They meet the man of their dreams and each one must face her destiny.

When she isn’t writing or reading romances, CJ enjoys spending time with her two grown children, her especially cute and brilliant grandson, and a feisty cat named Max. Schedule permitting, CJ loves to discover new favorite places along with new friends in both the US and around the world. Max absolutely refuses to travel.
