Blair ia a multi-published author, who writes in multiple genres and also edits professionally. Although best known for her Regency novels, she also writes Romantic Suspense, Mystery, Futuristic, Steampunk, and Young Adult. In addition, she has become internationally known for her blogs on Writing and Editing, where she is a strong advocate for writers learning to put their Best Foot Forward. Blair won RWA's Golden Heart in 2000 and was a RITA nominee for her first traditional Regency, THE INDIFFERENT EARL (now available online as THE COURTESAN'S LETTERS). Her Regency Historical, TARLETON'S WIFE, won the "Best Romance" award from the Florida Writers Association. And she has twice been nominated for an Eppie for her e-books.

Blair was an early pioneer in the e-book industry, her first four books published as e-books. She has also had the experience of three "lines" closing in her face and "What do I do now?" Needless to say, she embraced indie publishing and is a strong advocate of this new method of publication. IF it's done right. As of January 5, 2013, Blair has eighteen indie books available online (more than half backlist) and four books available through an e-publisher. She's learned a lot over the last twenty years and is happy to try to pass along a few words of wisdom.
