About Indiana RWA
Indiana Romance Writers of America is chapter #15 of the Romance Writers of America® (RWA). Our Chapter was founded January 1, 1982, and incorporated in 1985. We are a professional organization dedicated to creating high-quality romance writing in all genres through education and networking among authors, editors, agents, and others in the publishing industry. Our mission is to educate and encourage authors at all levels in their pursuit of excellence in romance writing.

Topic: Brenda Hiatt: Show Me the Money
Brenda Hiatt is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of romantic adventure novels including traditional Regency romance, time travel romance, historical novels, contemporary humorous mystery, and most recently young adult science fiction romance. She has authored and published over 20 such novels in a writing career that started in 1988. Hiatt, originally from Virginia, received degrees in Biology and Psychology from the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg, before attending graduate school at Texas A&M University. She has since lived in Hawaii, South Carolina, Texas, and now Indiana. She is married and has two children. Author of twenty novels (so far), including sweet and spicy historical romance, time travel romance, humorous mystery, and a new young adult science fiction series. She is as excited about her new STARSTRUCK series as she’s ever been about any of her books. In addition to writing, Brenda is passionate about embracing life to the fullest, to include scuba diving (she has over 60 dives to her credit), Taekwondo (where she recently attained her 3rd degree black belt), hiking, traveling…and reading, of course!
