About Our Chapter
Heart of Dixie seeks to promote excellence in romantic fiction, help writers become published and established in their field and provide continuing support for writers within the romance publishing industry.

Date: HOD typically meets the second Saturday of every month.
Time: Meetings begin at 12PM.
After the meeting, we invite everyone to join us at a location TBA for food and socializing.
Location: Heart of Dixie usually meets on the second Saturday of each month at the Cullman Museum in Cullman, Alabama. Meetings start at noon. The first hour is our business meeting, following by a short social break. The scheduled speaker/program will begin at approximately 1:30 and will last about an hour.
Directions to the museum:
Our current meeting place is in the second-floor meeting room of the Cullman County Museum, 211 2nd Ave. NE, Cullman, AL.
Directions from I-65:
Exit at #310. Head east. (For those coming from the south, east is to your right. For those coming from the north, east is left.) Proceed 1 mile to a stoplight by an Exxon station. This road is Highway 31. Turn right (south). You will continue south on Highway 31 for 3.8 miles where you will turn left (east) on Arnold St. Visual clues are an old Shell station on the right and an AutoZone store on the left. On Arnold St. you will cross a set of railroad tracks. Ahead on your right are a large parking lot and a yellow two-story building. This is the Cullman County Museum. Enter the front of the building and go upstairs to the meeting room. An elevator is available.
