Bio:
Alison Atlee is the author of The Typewriter Girl, a romantic historical Publishers Weekly included on its Best of the Year list, calling it "a spectacular debut, set in a perfectly realized Victorian England." A graduate the Bread Loaf School of English of Middlebury College, Alison lives in Kentucky and is a member of the Historical Novel Society. She spends her money on tea, travel, theater, and Post-It notes, and eagerly anticipates the day croquet is reinstated as an Olympic sport.
