Bio:

A former president of Orange County, CA, RWA and coordinator of a past RWA national conference, Louella Nelson is the best-selling author of romance novels, short stories, novellas, as well as award-winning trade magazine editorial features, articles, and technical reports. She has conducted successful author promotion and has been a guest on radio and television talk shows; she has taught seminars at Orange County and national RWA, led writing retreats, and taught writing courses at the University of California, Orange Coast College, and California State University. Lou received the UC Irvine Distinguished Instructor Award. She hosts two year-round professional critique groups, serves as developmental editor for Amazon, several well-known authors and aspiring authors, and teaches a beginning and an intermediate 10-week series on fiction-writing techniques. As listed under Client Success on Lou's website, many of her students are agented, published, award-winners, and best-selling authors.
