New York Times Bestselling, award-winning author Eileen Dreyer has published 40 novels and 10 short stories under her name and that of her evil twin, Kathleen Korbel in contemporary romance, paranormal romance, historical romance, romantic suspense, mystery and medical forensic suspense. A proud member of RWA's Hall of Fame for her 5 RITA wins, she also has numerous awards from RT BookLovers and an Anthony nomination for mystery. Eileen spent 16 years as a trauma nurse and is educated in trauma, forensics and death investigation. Not only did she train with the St. Louis Police and FBI, she took the training to be a medic on a SWAT team. Now, as she stretches into historical romance, she is honing her research capabilities on the world of Regency England. A veteran speaker of the conference and education circuit, Dreyer has addressed audiences as diverse as the Missouri Coroners Association, Washington University, the International Women's Fiction Festival in Italy and the RWA Rita Awards, which she has emceed.
