Bio:

Ann DeFee is an award winning author of nine novels and one novella with the Harlequin American Romance and Everlasting lines.  Her first book,  A Texas State of Mind (2005) was a double RITA (Romance Writers' of America national award) finalist in both the Long Contemporary and Best First Book categories.  Summer After Summer (2007 Harlequin Everlasting) won the Orange County Book Buyers' Best Long Series Contemporary award.  This book will be re-released in September 2013.  She has also delved into self-publishing with In A Pickle (available on most digital platforms).   Her most recent publications have been with Harlequin's Carina Press including  Beyond Texas (December, 2013) and Sparkle Plenty (2014). 

Ann has advanced degrees in political science and urban planning.  In addition she's a member of the American Institute of Certified (land use) Planners.  Her hobbies include tennis, golf, bowling , and visiting Colonial and Civil War historic sites.
