USA Today best-selling author Pamela Clare completed her undergraduate degree in Classics at the University of Colorado-Boulder and went on to study classical archaeology and art history in graduate school. She began her writing career as a columnist and investigative journalist and eventually became the first woman editor-in-chief of two different newspapers. Along the way, she won numerous state and national honors, including the National Journalism Award for Public Service and the First Amendment Award. In 2011, she was recognized by the Colorado Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists for her body of work with the Keeper of the Flame Lifetime Achievement Award. A single mother with two grown sons, she writes historical romance and contemporary romantic suspense. She lives in Colorado in the shadow of the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
