Bio:

Claire McEwen pulls on her many past adventures and an overactive imagination to create her stories.  She loves to write contemporary romance about people facing real challenges and making big decisions that, of course, lead them to lifelong romance and love in the end!

Claire spent many years as a teacher and school administrator and has extensive training in writng instruction. She has taught writing to young people of all ages and has led teacher trainings on how to create writing workshops in classrooms.

Claire lives by the ocean in Northern California with her family and a scruffy, mischievous terrier.  When not dreaming up new stories, she can be found digging in her garden with a lot of enthusiasm but, unfortunately, no green thumb.  She loves discovering flea-market treasures, walking on the beach, dancing, traveling and reading, of course!
