Creating Effective Partnerships: Librarians, Booksellers, and Authors in a New Publishing Era
Speakers: Wendy Crutcher and Laura Florand
Libraries, booksellers, and authors can create natural and amazing partnerships, but we don’t always know or understand each other, nor do we know the questions to ask. In the changing publishing industry, it is increasingly vital to maintain these connections. Led by author Laura Florand and librarian Wendy Crutcher (head of collections for L. A., blogger, and RWA Librarian of the Year), this session will bring authors, booksellers, and librarians together to discuss what works and what doesn’t and what forms our partnerships can take going forward.
