A little bit about our technology and the ease of using Karmel Shuttle service.

  1. After completing a reservation, an email confirmation goes to the Attendees email. The email contains a “MANAGE MY RESERVATIONS” link. From the link, clients can change/update flight info, change dates, or cancel reservations online.
  2. With lead passenger's cellphone number, our system will send automated TEXT notifications:
    • QUICK CONFIRM TEXT - 48 hours prior to pick-up date attendee will receive a TEXT containing their round-trip reservation itinerary. Attendee confirms by pressing the “CONFIRMED” button. (If any reservation or flight info is incorrect, 48 hours allows the client plenty of time to make changes.)
    • Arrival WELCOME TEXT – Karmel’s state-of-the-art flight tracking system monitors each attendee’s flight arrival in “real time”!
      Once the flight touches down on the runway, attendee receives a welcome TEXT! For example, “Welcome to LAX. Please collect all luggage first then proceed to (BLANK). Your driver will TEXT you directly.”  (Depending on which airport, our system will instruct them to proceed to the proper area to meet the driver.)
      The driver will TEXT the client directly. Client now has a direct way of communicating with their driver.
      Any issues locating or contacting a driver, passengers can TEXT or call our dispatch department at 714-670-3480 #2 for dispatch, for assistance.
    • Departure TEXT - 40 minutes prior to departure pick-up time, client will receive a TEXT to ALERT them the driver is in route and will arrive soon. Please be ready outside of the hotel lobby a few minutes prior to scheduled pick-up time. Driver will TEXT you directly.
    • RATE MY RIDE TEXT – Tell us how we did!!! Once client is dropped off, a TEXT asking them to rate our service is sent. Attendee can rate our service and leave comments about their transfers.
