KD Fleming, writes sweet and inspirational romances. Her motto is “using stories of faith to share hope” within small town settings. She strives to remind people they’re not alone when life tosses them into the deep end of the pool or when faced with the darkest of woes because where there is faith, there will always be hope.

She is the 2012 Golden Heart® and Golden Pen Inspirational Category Winner. Her debut novel, Campaigning for Love, the first of three stories in her Pemberly series, releases September 2014 from Love Inspired's Heartsong Presents.

Her writing adventure began thanks to a friend’s encouragement. And before KD had finished typing the first page, she knew she’d finally found her calling and her life would never be the same.

KD has been a cashier, a banker, a traffic clerk (within a publishing company—don’t ask), a licensed property insurance adjuster, and an accounts receivable and payroll coordinator for a concrete manufacturing company. Downsizing at her last job opened up the opportunity to pursue her calling as a storyteller full-time.

KD lives in a small town in west central Florida with her wonderful husband of fifteen years. She spends her days creating new stories and reading for her three amazing critique partners.

KD is a member of Romance Writers of America and their local chapter, Tampa Area Romance Authors (TARA), where she currently serves as treasurer. She is also a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and a contributor to the Firebirds blog, which features the 2012 Golden Heart finaling class. She has contributed numerous times to the “Fiction Fridays” story segments. Read her scenes at www.ghfirebirds.com (please note, all are mainstream).
